Michael Adams, LPCC

Michael is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of KY.  For the past 5 years he has provided individual, group and family counseling for adolescents and adults.

He has extensive experience working with addiction and other mental health issues such as trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, behavior modification and self-harm. He favors to address client's issues from a holistic perspective. He has also trained and educated other professionals in the area of adolescent behavior modification and substance abuse. Michael is also able to address issues from a Christian perspective when specified.

As an LPCC and CADC, Michael is independently licensed to assess and treat any mental health or substance abuse problem for adolescents and adults. The CADC is awarded to individuals who have undergone extensive training, education and supervision as it relates to treating those who suffer from drug and alcohol issues.  Michael believes that empowering the client to reach their full potential and goals is the most important thing in the counseling process.
